The giveaway is still underway but there's only about a week left to enter (at the time of writing this)!  If you haven't done so already, you can visit the Giveaway tab or you can even just enter below.

The experience I've gained from this single little promotion has actually got me fairly excited if I do say so.  With the amount of entries and all the tweets and retweets, I must say this will certainly not be my last giveaway.  If anything, I plan to do at least one giveaway every month!  This could be a game, a CSGO skin, a Steam gift card, who knows.

All of the feedback I've received is all very nice and encouraging as well.  So I would like to thank everyone for that!

I won't ramble on anymore, if you came here for the giveaway, please enter below!  Or you can head over to the Main Giveaway Page to enter.  Either one works!

KahnyaRelix #CSGO #Birthday #Giveaway

Well it sure has been awhile!  I've been super busy as I'm sure everyone has been with the holiday season still somewhat upon us.  But looking to the new year means new adventure and excitement!  I hope to hop back on that Twitch horse and try to stream my heart out and meet some new fun people to enjoy some gaming with.

With my birthday coming up in January, the holiday season will be slightly more behind us, but that doesn't mean the spirit of giving should disappear!  So I've decided to give away an AK-47 Frontside Misty Minimal Wear CS:GO skin!  To enter, you can go ahead and run through all the entry options in the Gleam giveaway which can be found HERE!

Now I know some people who read this may not like CS:GO or don't play it, whatever it may be.  I also plan to do a secondary birthday giveaway for those people.  Well some people anyways who may not like CS:GO but maybe want a couple free games on Steam!  I haven't fully decided which ones yet but I have some from a previous Humble Bundle I would be willing to part with so that someone can enjoy and appreciate them more than I would.

With that said, keep an eye out for another post about the game giveaway!  I haven't decided if I want to use Gleam or just say fuck it and do it live!  So stay tuned!

I hope to be able to put on a nice long stream on my birthday which if you haven't found is January 20th.  During the stream, I may give away additional skins, Steam games, or maybe something else, who knows.  I'm poor so probably nothing super awesome, but it's free stuff, and everyone likes free stuff, be honest with yourself.

Until next time, stay tuned, hit those follow buttons, and share away!  More to come later!

Good day everyone!

If you were wondering where I've been, or even if you haven't, I'm going to tell you anyways.  I've been preparing myself for the launch of Black Ops 3!  While the release date is a busy day for me as I work hard to keep my girl friend happy on her birthday, the weekend that follows will be filled with plenty of play time.

Alongside the release, or a day later rather, marks the start of the Extra Life Charity 24 Hour Marathon Live Stream which I'll be doing on Twitch.  I'll be playing BO3 for the most part unless someone who donates money wishes that I play a different game for awhile.  It's been awhile since I've played a Call of Duty game as Advanced Warfare was the first one I didn't buy in many many years.

As I continue to prep, and stock up on snacks and Monster to fuel my rage passion for these games I hope you're as ready as I am.  Please come join me on November 7th where I'll be starting my live stream on Twitch roughly at 8 AM EST and then I'll be going for 24 hours at the very least to help raise some money.  If you don't wish to donate or cannot afford to do so, even just tuning in or having my stream on one of your devices will help to boost my viewer count to get me higher on the board so more people are able to see that I'm online.

It looks like it will be a fun adventure and a great time!  I hope you will join me as I game away and try to raise some money to help the sick kids of Johns Hopkins Children Hospital!

You can find my stream on Twitch
You can make a donation from my page on Extra Life

Until next time!

Happy Friday!

Less than a month from now, more specifically November 7th of 2015, Extra Life will be hosting their yearly gaming event.  If you don't know what that is, head on over to Extra Life's website an you can take a look for yourself at a lot more information!

In short, every year thousands of gamer's come together and stream for 24 hour marathons to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.  Donations are taken in and all proceeds are given to these wonderful foundation.  If you're a member and help to raise money, you get to choose a specific children's hospital where your donations will be put.  For instance, since I reside in Maryland, I decided to choose Johns Hopkins Children's Center.

As a father who would be devastated if my daughter got seriously sick, I'm delighted and thankful that this charity provides such a wonderful way to support many children's hospitals, even my local one!

If you are unsure what Extra Life is or know nothing about it, I encourage you to visit their website.  If you already know what it is and you are a streamer and a member who raises money to contribute, I salute you!  If you are someone who wishes to donate, you can do so through various participants pages, team pages, or even my own shameless plus of a page.

I myself plan to participate in the event this year on November 7th and stream for as close to 24 hours as I can.  I encourage you to tune in at my Twitch channel where there's some additional information regarding some "prizes" provided by myself for donating, including a raffle!  If you're not into games and you just want to donate, you may do so any time between now and the end of the year if I'm not mistaken.

The Impact Gaming Community (IGC) is also participating this year as they did last year!  I will be joining in under their team as we work to reach a total of $1,500 in donations.  Each year Impact Gaming raises more and more money.  Last year IGC raised a total of $1,116 thanks to everyone who donated.  It's a wonderful thing that they do over there and I'm proud to say that I'm able to be apart of it.  IGC's Extra Life group is organized by IGC's own founder or better known as Grey Jorildyn.

My goal is to raise $500, my goal is low, but my hopes are high that people are in a giving mood.  I mean, it's for the children, and even if you don't like children that much, is it really fair they get sick?  What if you were a child and you got sick?

I am trying to get the word out there, so if you would kindly share this post, or the link to my Extra Life page, I would be most appreciated.  But if you want to go the extra mile and donate even just a single dollar, it would mean the world to the children.

Will you be participating in Extra Life this year?  Will you be donating (doesn't matter to who/where)?  What are your thoughts on this method of raising money?  I personally think it's amazing, but maybe you don't?  Share your thoughts and this post below!

Yesterday marked the official end of the Star Wars Battlefront Beta!  It was truly an exciting game, but there are many things that I personally found wrong with it.  While it's very much your authentic Star Wars type game, there were certainly more than a few times I grew very frustrated with it.

The Good:

Let's start off with the good though as it was still fun despite my frustrations.  Graphics!  Whether you're on PS4, PC, or Xbox One, these were amazing.  From all the streams I saw, the videos posted online, to when I was playing, the graphics were just a work of art.  The textures were phenomenal and it looked almost real.  The physics as you run around in third person looked very close to real life.  Alongside the graphics were the special effects.  Picture the Star Wars movie when a blaster hits a surface and the laser bursts into many tiny dots, or the sparks that come off the surface.  That's exactly how it looked in the game.  The explosions looked as if you were playing the movie itself.

The game play itself was also very good, it had a realistic feel to it.  Whether you were on the ground, or in a vehicle, it felt like you were unable to break the laws of physics.  The vehicles, especially flying felt like they became second nature very quickly.  It was an easy thing to pick up and get right into the action.  Some vehicles handled differently than others, for example, the X-Wing by far was my favorite ship.  Where as, the A-Wing, still a good ship due to it's speed and power, was much harder to control.  You were unable to fly it upside down as efficiently as the X-Wing or a Tie Fighter.

The Dark Side: The Bad:

Now for some of the bad, the spawning.  Every time you spawn in Hoth, you were typically set to two spawn points which rotated between each other.  As the Imperials, this felt like you had to walk the longest way to get back into the battle.  On the Rebel side, you felt the pain of having the same feeling.  While it felt like you had to walk a good ways to get back into the fight, it's nice that enemies didn't spawn directly on top of or behind you.  That being said, as the "uplink" points moved, so did the spawns.  If you had a bad timed spawn, you may notice some Imperials or Rebel's may spawn right on top of you or behind you.  This wasn't a one in a million chance either, it would happen pretty often if you died at the right time.  Which let's be honest, it happens a lot, at least to me, maybe I'm unlucky, I'm not sure.

Another gripe I have is the amount of vehicles the Imperials had over the Rebels.  I know you could only get to level 5 and thus only had a slim choice of weapons, so the Rebel's didn't have any "anti-tank" essentially, so that made that match much more difficult.  Usually someone in an AT-ST would be murdering you're entire troop while Imperials in the Tie Fighter would be keeping your ships out of the sky.  This combination meant your ships were unable to support the ground troops and fire upon the AT-ST's making it a great mathematical formula for destruction.

Blasters by far as someone coming from the realistic shooting games with guns with bullets that travel much faster.  This was an issue for me that I never got fully adjusted to.  You have to make sure you shoot in front of someone if they are running to the side.  I also have my thoughts that latency may have been an issue because three head shots wouldn't kill an enemy, but one shot to my head was pretty much instant death.  Even if I had the drop of the enemy at some point, they would still manage to decimate me even if I had fired almost every shot into their chest/back before my gun was about to over heat.

Matchmaking: Not terrible, but good luck getting to play with your friends.  Their system allowed you to have a single partner.  So if you or your partner joined a game, you were notified and prompted to join.  If you're just in a voice chat party, they show that too, but there's no notification.  You have to go select a name and select join game.  Is the game full?  Yes?  Well you can sit in queue until someone leaves.  Is the other team full?  No?  OK, you can play against your friend.  I think this feature still requires a little work unless they don't want more than two friends always playing on the same team or together at all?

The last thing I wish to mention by far urged me the most.  THE CLIPPING!  Mother of pearl this was the worst.  Nothing sucks more than trying to run and duck into cover and getting stuck on a rock or piece of snow no bigger than an ant.  Especially because of the various formations of rocks used on both maps that were available in the beta, clipping was typically the death of me if I was on the ground.  Hopefully EA will be able to smooth that over a bit before launch as I see that being a big issue down the road.

Final Thoughts:

All in all, Star Wars Battlefront seems like it's going to be a fun game.  As I said originally in another post I still wouldn't buy it.  Maybe it's because I'm not a big enough Star Wars fan to want to play a game and dedicate my time that way.  Maybe it's because I think back to Rainbow Six | Siege Beta and just wish I was still playing that.  I believe it was easier to play with friends in Rainbow Six where as there's no good way to get into matches with your friends on Battlefront.

If you're all about Star Wars, graphics, vehicles, essentially Battlefield with a Star Wars skin, this game is for you!  I would recommend it to a friend who was borderline on the edge because it is a fun game, don't get me wrong.  It's just not my kind of game.  From what I discussed, there was just more bad than good.  While good should always triumph as per Star Wars, I just don't think I would be happy with my purchase and continue to be entertained as time went on.

What do you think?  Are you planning to play Star Wars Battlefront when it releases?  Did you play the beta?  What are your thoughts on the graphics and the game play?  Leave a comment below with your thoughts or opinions!

Yesterday EA announced they were extending the Star Wars Battlefront beta for another day to give EA time to further test their infrastructure and in hopes to "find some extreme scenarios" which for us means possibly losing connectivity or being booted out of matches.  This extra day as they state, is being performed to ensure the infrastructure for the launch on November 17th 2015.
This is good news mostly for many of us who had a busy week/weekend and haven't had much time to play.  I myself plan to play again to see if I can get some more specific feedback for my future post regarding my final thoughts on the game.

All in all, the beta itself has been very smooth, I haven't had much trouble since the start finding matches and getting to play.  There may have been a time or two where I've lost connection or had connectivity issues.  But there are various things within the game itself that urge me to no end.  I won't go into detail, but clipping.  The clipping in this game is typically the death of me if I'm ever on the ground.

As of right now, I plan to review the  and  to gather what information has been most discussed in terms of the feedback provided to make sure I include some of that information in my final thoughts post.  I suggest if you're interested in the game, or have been playing, you hop on over there and provide your feedback as well.  With my final thoughts posting I will be providing all my feedback via one or the other (or both).

Once this beta is over, I'll have no idea what to do with myself, so here's to hoping for another extension, though unlikely, it would be nice!  Since that's probably not going to happen though, what will you be playing?  What would you want to watch?  Please leave a comment below!

Until next time, and may the force be with you!

Star Wars Battlefront Beta

Greetings everyone!

As I continue to start the journey of playing new games, as well as betas and streaming them I decided it would be appropriate to make a schedule.  While I do have a Twitter and more to provide notifications, I believe a set schedule approach should help in my efforts and help you as well.

How the Schedule Helps

Since I have begun putting the schedule together, it's important to note how this will help you, my viewers keep up with when I will be streaming as well as what I will be streaming!  You can take a look at the calendar located here!  This will have a calendar showing the days I am streaming, the start time, the end time, and what game I'm streaming.  You are also able to copy it over to your calendar so you're able to get notifications approximately 10 minutes before I go LIVE!

This means that you'll never have to miss out on my stream or at least you won't be left in the dark as to what days I'll be LIVE.  You can also see what game I will be playing that day.

I hope to make a schedule that has me LIVE more than 3 days a week and I hope to provide you with some entertainment.  As of right now, I cannot currently do giveaways and such, but I do plan to have these in the future once I figure out how I want to do the giveaways.  If I ever get extra beta keys, they will go into my giveaways and entry into them will be determined at a later time.  But speaking of giveaways, they will be listed on the calendar!  So it's important you keep up if you want to know when they will be!

I of course will continue to tweet my go LIVE times and I hope you come and join me for some fun.  Feel free to talk to me, ask questions, I enjoy discussing pros and cons, the good and the bad, and just what really grinds my gears about games as I play, and I encourage you to join me and share your opinion as well.

I will continue to keep the calendar as up to date as I can and will work to see what more I can do to keep everyone in the loop when I go LIVE on Twitch.  I also hope to make events at some point where you can come play with me as well, and I will certainly be looking into that and monitoring feedback as time goes on.

Thanks again for all your support and I hope you enjoy!
